Kathleen Jeanne Schifsky (nee Lau) Age 78, long-time resident of St. Paul and White Bear Lake, MN. She passed away peacefully at Walker Methodist Place in Minneapolis, MN on May 5, 2021. Survived by her three children Charles (Gina) of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA, Elizabeth (Tom) Alldritt of Chisago City, MN and Amy (Jeff) Wozniak of Minneapolis, MN; five grandchildren, Amanda Schifsky, Bridget, Allison and Kyle Alldritt, Maxwell Wozniak, sister Barbara Frid (William) and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her beautiful daughter Deborah Anne, her loving mother Mary Jeanne Freeman, father Paul Lau and niece Jennifer Jenniges. Kathleen led an eventful life, first raising her children on Garden Lane in White Bear Lake complete with backyard performances, Kool Aid for all the neighborhood kids, scout meetings and dance lessons, along with holidays spent with family. She went on to complete her BA degree at Hamline University, followed by a successful career in banking, data management and student financial aid. Kathleen had a love of animals, crafting and sewing. She was a talented writer, a skill she passed on to many in her family and she was always up for a good political debate. But, spending time with her grandchildren and baking sugar cookies for us all is where she was really truly happy. We are comforted to know that she has been reunited in heaven with Debbie and Mary Jeanne. Funeral at Willwerscheid Funeral Home, 1167 Grand Avenue, St. Paul, MN, Monday, May 10, 2021 at 11:30 A.M. followed by private burial at St. Mary's of the Lake Cemetery, White Bear Lake.
