Mary Donalda Furth

Of Green Valley, AZ, formerly of St. Paul Born August 20, 1929 in St. Paul. Died August 6, 2018 in Green Valley, AZ at age 88. Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother. Preceded in death by parents Daniel and Elsie Bowler, and brother Rupert Bowler. Survived by beloved husband of almost 67 years Herbert J. Furth and children Dan (Betsy) Furth and their son DJ; Bob (Mary Jo) Furth and their children Sam Fusco and Ruby Furth; Patt Colten and her children Nick, Tara, Luke (Mandy) Colten, Al "Bubs" and Nicole Biagi; Mary T Furth; John (Allison) Furth and their children Kiley (Rian) Melander and Andrew Furth; Joe; as well as 5 great-grandchildren. Also survived by brother Bill Bowler and many nieces, nephews and friends. Mary graduated from St. Catherine's College School of Nursing in 1950. After raising her family, she worked as a volunteer Red Cross disaster nurse for 30 years. She enjoyed playing bridge, birding, reading and genealogy. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to San Alfonso Mission or donor's preference. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, August 31 at 10:00 AM at Lumen Christi Catholic Community, 2055 Bohland Ave., St. Paul. Visitation Thursday, August 30 from 4-7 pm at Willwerscheid Funeral Home, 1167 Grand Ave., St. Paul.
