Nee Mootz. Born January 11, 1961 in Pasco, WA. Passed away on July 31, 2014 in St. Paul, MN.Preceeded in death by adored and adoring father, Jean S. Mootz. Survived by loving mother, Maxine T. Mootz; brothers, Peter and Tom; aunt, Dorothy Amundsen of Rio Rancho, NM; many cousins; good friend and caretaker, Ron Bertsch; special friends, Darrell, Boe and Kathy; also countless others too numerous to mention. She loved helping anyone in need. Homeless canines were a particular passion of hers. Catherine almost left this earth several times since suffering a devastating spinal cord injury on Nov. 7, 1990. Our hearts are broken, but we are thankful she is free of pain at last. Visitation 10:00 -11:00am Friday August 8, 2014 at the Church of St. John the Baptist, 8352nd Ave. NW, New Brighton. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00am. Interment St. John the Baptist Cemetery. If desired, memorials to the Animal Humane Society, 1115 Beulah Lane, St. Paul, MN 55108.
