James L. “Jim” Rader, age 60, of Fort Atkinson passed away Thursday, March 8th, 2018 at his home surrounded by family after a courageous battle with Cancer. On June 28, 1980 he married Patsy C. Ziegler. Jim worked as mill operator at Valero ethanol plant in Jefferson. Jim was an avid Packer and Badger fan. He was a jack of all trades and a very patient man who could fix anything. You could find him helping anyone who needed it. Jim enjoyed movies and could recite many lines from them. He is preceded by his Father, James Rader and brother, Patrick Rader. Jim is survived by his mother, Ann Rader of Jefferson; wife, Patsy Rader of Fort Atkinson; children, Jim (Nicole) Rader of Stoughton, Rachel (John) Shaw of Milwaukee; grandchildren, Anna and Sydney Shaw and William Rader; siblings, Sharon (Lance) Shanahan of Fort Atkinson, Tom Rader of Jefferson, Gary (Marcia) Rader of Fort Atkinson, Bill (Melanie) Rader of Fort Atkinson and many nieces, nephews and friends. We Entrusted James Rader's Care To
Nitardy Funeral Homes - Fort Atkinson
We have proudly served the Southern Wisconsin community for over 90 years, when Hilmar A. Nitardy opened his first funeral home in the area. In 1984, his son Russ knew it was time to offer professional, compassionate services to the Fort Atkinson community, and we constructed a new funeral home to address its needs. We feel so fortunate to be a part of the community, and have grown our family alongside the community for three generations....
