Frank J. Waldorf, 93 of Barnum died on Saturday, April 10, 2010 in Mercy Health Care Center in Moose Lake. He was born on April 16, 1916 in St. Cloud the son of Paul and Hedwig Waldorf. He married Magdaline Burgraff on August 5, 1939 who preceded him in death in 1997 after 58 years of marriage. Frank was an employee of Northwest Paper and Potlatch Corporation retiring with 35 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Magdaline; five sisters, Henrietta Wicklund, Matilda Murray, Dorothy Jacobson, Bernadette Burgraff and Marie Hinkemeyer; and three brothers, Fred Waldorf, Ray Waldorf and twin brother Philip Waldorf. Frank is survived by his children, Carol Ziebarth, Lucille Kubis, Frank Jr. "Butch" (Carol) Waldorf, Nicholas (Carol) Waldorf, Helen (Fred) Witte, and Michael (Linda) Waldorf; brother, Cyril (Virginia)Waldorf; 17 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild. Funeral Services were held on Friday, April 16, 2010 in Atkins-Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th Street, Cloquet, followed by a luncheon in the Fireside Room of the funeral home. Burial was in New Calvary Cemetery in Cloquet with military honors accorded by the Cloquet Combined Honor Guard. Arrangements entrusted to Atkins-Northland Funeral Home.
