Ann Mary Cummins, 63 of Barnum died Friday, May 14, 2010 in St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth with her loving family by her side. She was born February 27, 1947 in Cloquet to Lawrence and Margaret Evers. She attended Sacred Heart Elementary School and the Cloquet High School. On August 9, 1977, Ann married Bob Cummins and they made their home in Barnum. Ann worked for Carlton County as a Child Support Officer for seventeen years. Ann was a member of the Jesus Center in Barnum. She enjoyed four-wheeling, going to movies, eating at Mexico Lindo, flower gardening, helping others, and most importantly spending time and caring for her family. Ann was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, James Evers. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Bob; children, Mike Ostoff of North Dakota, Mark Ostoff of Barnum, Todd (Patty) Ostoff of Carlton, Jessica (Brian) Gilchrist of Cloquet, Rob (Jodi) Cummins of Duluth, Cristi (Mark) Swearingen of Texas and Brandee Cummins of Texas; thirteen grandchildren, Amanda, Chanelle, and Nicholas Ostoff, Brey and Sheria Ostoff, Austin Ostoff, Tyler, Brittney, and Arabelle Gilchrist; Skyler, Sloane, and Brody Swearingen, and Cassie Jo O'Malley; and four brothers, Bill (Anita) Evers of Green Bay, Wisc., Jack (Liz) Evers of Phoenix, Dave (Donna) Evers of Duluth, and Ted (Connie) Evers of Phoenix. Memorial Service were held on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 in the Atkins-Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th St. in Cloquet. A time of lunch and fellowship followed in the Fireside Room of the funeral Home.
