Gladys Lucille Winquist

Gladys Lucille Winquist, 85, Cloquet, died Friday, February 6, 2004 in Cloquet Community Memorial Nursing Home. She was born January 18, 1919 in Beaver Township, the daughter of Victor and Katie (Newman) Johnson. She married Reynold Winquist on July 26, 1937. Gladys was employed by Diamond International in Cloquet for 30 years, retiring in 1976. She attended St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Gladys was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Reynold on Sept. 15, 1997 and several brothers and sisters. Gladys is survived by her son, Dennis (Liz) of Centerville, MN and her daughter, Donna (Sam) Miller of Ventura, CA; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Friday, February 13, 2004 in Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th Street, Cloquet. Entombment was in Sunrise Memorial Park, Hermantown. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Salvation Army.
