Bradley Frank Schutt

passed away peacefully with family by his side on Sunday, June 23,2024 at Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, Colorado. Bradley “Brad” was born September 22, 1955 to Donald  and Theda Bechtel Schutt in Pawnee, OK.

 

Brad graduated from Stillwater High School in 1974 and later served in the U. S. Army. He spent most of his adult life in the Kansas City area working in the construction industry and was a member of the Heavy Construction Laborers’ Local Union #663.

 

Brad was a good athlete and enjoyed most sports. His main enjoyment and talents were in playing tennis and foosball. He played in many tennis tournaments and foosball tournaments over the years. In more recent years he could be found watching whatever tennis tournament was on TV. 

 

In December 2015, Brad was involved in a tragic work related accident which left him a quadriplegic . He was sent to Craig Hospital in Denver, Colorado for inpatient rehabilitation and later moved to Care Meridian/NeuroRestorative in Littleton, Colorado. 

 

Survivors include his sister, Marianne Mcfarlin (Randy); niece, Sarah Klepacki; nephew, Kevin Mcfarlin; great nieces, Landry Klepacki, Carter Klepacki and Sutton Dean. 

Brad was preceded in death by his parents, and his grandparents. 

 

A memorial service for Brad will be planned at a later date.
