She was born in Pecos Nm to Elijio Flores and Luz Ortega
She was one of 14 children 7 Brothers and 7 Sisters
She was preceded in death by her husband of 24 years Natividad Marinez
She also had a few memorable years in Torrington WY with Pete Martinez now deceased
Also preceded in death were her siblings; Mary Moreno, Raymond Flores, Macario Flores, Lena Chavez, Eli Flores, Lupe Gallegos, Mary Lou Guevarra and most recent Jose Flores….
Survived by her Daughter JoAnna (Jody) Moralez and Grand Son Derek Moralez
Sisters; Stella Flores, Dolores Zapata and
Brothers; Jesse Flores, Leroy Flores and Ruben Flores
Numerous nieces, nephews that she loved all so dearly
She was an amazing mother and a very loving God Mother to numerous God Children (too many to list)
She was always loving and giving. She opened her home and her heart.
There was always an open invite to her table, always food on the stove as she was an amazing cook.
She worked for American Linnen for many years and the last years of her career was spent as a Food Service Manager for Denver Public Schools.
She loved music and Dancing (Chonclando) kicking up her heels – she is now dancing in Heaven getting use of her legs back.
She spent the last 14 years at Hallmark Nursing Home where she was cared for beautifully and touched many hearts, I thank them for taking care and loving my moma
She is now in heaven dancing and cooking away, she no longer suffers and will be truly missed always and forever loved.
