Timothy Jennings Hefner 70, passed away on July 4, 2024 in Ocala, Florida.  He was born in Miami, Florida on November 22, 1953. 

He earned an Associates of Arts degree and began his plumbing and building construction of homes in Ft. Pierce, Florida.  Tim was a devoted husband and father.  He has always had an entrepreneurial spirit and loved helping and mentoring others.  Tim was a man of God and loved his CBS Bible Study Fellowship and the great outdoors where he always felt close to God.   

Tim’s favorite hobbies were camping in the nature, fishing and enjoying God’s creation. Tim seemed to touch the lives of everyone he knew as he had numerous friends and business contacts.

He will be remembered for the loving and caring relationships he shared with his large family, especially his nephews, cousins and friends who loved him in return. 

“Do not grieve for me I am following the path of God laid for me, God wanted me now”.

He is preceded in death by his father Secrest W. Hefner, Jr.  Tim is survived by his wife Debbie W. Hefner for whom he was totally dedicated to, his beautiful daughters Jennifer N. (Rob) Stephenson, Lake Mary, Florida, Jocelyn (Timm) Kempe, Searsport, Maine, grandchildren Sybil Allem, Sophia Allem, Oscar Kempe and Ivy Kemp. He is also survived by his mother Beverely. Hefner, St. Johns, Florida, brother Steven M. Hefner, Hillsboro Beach, Florida and sister Cindy H. Hockell, St. Johns, Florida. 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Mayo Clinic Cancer Research in Tim's name.
