In Loving Memory

Horace Allen Bishop, 82, of Columbia, went home to be with the Lord on July 30th. Known to his friends and family as Allen, he was a lifelong resident of the Olympia Community. He spent many hours walking countless miles around the community meeting and enjoying the company and friendships of neighbors.

Allen was an accomplished bowler and an avid music lover. His collection of albums was impressive. Elvis was a particular favorite. His love of music was only matched by his love of wrestling. Friday nights were dedicated to watching matches and definitely “do not disturb” nights.

Allen was a cat Dad and loved his two cats, Tag and Paw Paw.  He was a gentle soul and will be missed by all who knew him.He was preceded in death by his Mother, Endis and his Grandmother, Ida. His greatest wish was to join them in heaven.  His wish has been granted.

He is survived by his cousin, Mickey Bishop of Columbia.
