The Springs Funeral Services - North
Ingrid Barbara Rattler Logan
July 15th, 1953 - July 16th, 2024
Ingrid Barbara Rattler Logan, 70, of Peyton, Colorado, died in her home on or around July 12, 2024, just days short of her 71st birthday.
She was born in Bamberg, Germany on July 15, 1953, and moved to the United States in 1979 where she would meet the love of her life, Stanley Logan. Ingrid and Stanley established their home in Peyton where they resided for 25 years. Though wholeheartedly patriotic and proud to be an American, Ingrid’s homeland of Germany held a very special place in her heart.
Ingrid is survived by her stepson, Lennis J. Campbell, Jr. (Bridget Collins), her granddaughter, Mallory Marseille Campbell, whom she adored and treated like her very own Princess, and her step grandchildren Torrey and Peyton Collins, both of Colorado Springs.
She is also survived by her sister, Michaela Schmoll (Bernd) and brother Thomas Motschenbacher (Barbara Frei) both of Buttenheim, Germany, niece Lisa Schmoll of Altendorf, Germany, nephew Marcel Motschenbacher of Hirschaid, Germany, and her in-laws, the Logan family in Kentucky.
Ingrid is preceded in death by her husband, Stanley E. Logan, Jr., her parents, Oswald and Mathilde Motschenbacher, and her sister, Sonja Motschenbacher.
She was a devoted military wife who cared for her husband until his death in 2021. She was also dedicated to her work as a medical assembler with Philips, where she had many friends.
Ingrid brought joy to all who knew her. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, hosting barbecues, playing card games, watching the Olympics and the World Cup, following Shemar Moore on social media, and most of all, cheering on her Denver Broncos. She loved gambling and was known to lose track of time while playing the slot machines in Cripple Creek. She won more than her fair share of jackpots and always spoiled others with her winnings.
As she prepared to drive home after every outing, Ingrid would always say, “Time to hit the backcountry!” While we mourn, we pray her final journey Home took her to the loving embrace of her husband and sister, both of whom she missed dearly.
