Franck Jean-Baptiste 

March 10, 1945 – July 29, 2024

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Franck Jean-Baptiste, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cherished friend and dedicated musician. Franck left us peacefully on July 29, 2024, surrounded by the love and warmth of his family.

Born on March 10, 1945, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Franck exuded a serene and tranquil presence from a young age. His profound passion for music was evident in all aspects of his life, reflecting a deep commitment to his craft. With a heart full of generosity and a spirit dedicated to sharing, he imparted the rich heritage and teachings of music to those around him. Franck's contributions to Haitian music are eternal, leaving an indelible imprint on the industry and serving as an enduring source of inspiration for countless musicians.

Franck was a devoted husband and father who treasured his family above all else. He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren and countless family members for whom his guidance and love will forever remain a cornerstone in their lives. As a friend, Franck’s kindness, generosity, and unwavering support enriched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him. He greeted everyone with open arms and a smile, making each person he met feel valued.
