Gilbert Pena of Denver, Colorado passed away August 14th, 2024, at the age of 71.

He was born May 21, 1953, in Fort Collins, Colorado. He was the son of the late Eulalia and Francisco Pena. He is survived by siblings: Richard Pena, Nash Pena, Mary Pena, and Rose Archuleta. He is predeceased by brother, David Pena. He leaves a loving family filled with many nieces, nephews, godchildren, and friends.

Prior to his retirement, Gilbert proudly worked for the City & County of Denver at the Denver International Airport as a heavy machine operator for over 15 years. Gilbert thoroughly enjoyed his trips to New Mexico, bingo, mariachi music, and known for his love to dance. Most importantly, he cherished the time spent with his family.

A gathering of family and friends will take place in honor of Gilbert at Annunciation Catholic Church 3601 N Humboldt Street, Denver, CO 80205 on August 23, 2024. The viewing will take place at 3 pm, rosary at 4 pm, and funeral at 4:30pm. Reception to immediately follow at Swansea Recreation Center, 2650 E 49th, Denver, CO 80216.
