Petra Elaine Mares was born on August 7th, 1943, in Denver Colorado. Born to mother Stella Bernard and Father Manuel Medina. She went on to be with the Lord on September 7th, 2024. Preceded in Death by Husband Lee Mares Daughter Cindy Tucson and Grandsons, Jonathan Tucson, Isaac Tucson and Gabriel Tucson. She is survived by her brother Manuel Medina, and two daughters Debra Velasquez and Michelle Morales. She is also survived by multiple grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and friends. She was a loving and caring person who enjoyed conversations with family members and people she loved. My Mom would light up the room with her beauty, and sweet personality. We will all cherish every moment we were able to spend with her. And she will forever be in our hearts and on our minds. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
