In Loving Memory
Bob's earthly journey has come to a close after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's on September 19, 2024. He is now with God, and with his family who was awaiting to welcome him home.
He was born on December 29, 1940 in Huntington, Indiana. He grew up in Peru, Indiana, with his father, Dr. Emerson Guy Caley. At the age of 21, he joined the Marines. Bob was the proud owner of Best Printing (originally PIP Printing) on the corner of Sumter and Calhoun Street for over thirty years.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Caley nee Kizer; brother, Doug Caley (Lisa) of Peru, Indiana; sons, Guy Caley (Lisa) and Brent Caley (Kim); stepchildren, Jennifer Kepple (Keith), Natalie Fisher, and Daniel Wolfe; 10 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren, all of whom reside in the Columbia area.
He is predeceased by his father, Dr. Emerson Guy Caley.
Bonnie Caley would like to thank Heart of Hospice for their loving care and support, which she is so grateful for, as well as a special niece, Dawn Kizer.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 23, 2024 at 7pm at Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 845 Leesburg Road, Columbia, SC 29209. Visitation will be one hour prior.
