Charles "Chuck" Dean Whittaker

Charles “Chuck” Dean Whittaker of Venice, Florida passed away on September 25, 2024 at the age of 85. He was born on May 20, 1939 in Earlville, Illinois and moved to Venice in 1995. Chuck was in the automotive industry both in sales and repair. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves and was a stock car racer at Charlotte County Speedway.
Chuck is survived y his wife, Joan Garfinkel Whittaker; two sons, Chad Babcock of Lanark, IL, Richard H. Whittaker of Jacksonville, FL; two stepdaughters, Deborah Halvorsen of Jacksonville Beach, FL and Laura Halvorsen of Wasilla, Alaska. He also leaves a sister, Mary Eisenzimmer of Ohio. He was preceded in death by his mother, Catherine Hart Whittaker, his father, Russell D. Whittaker and two brothers, Richard Whittaker and Russ Whittaker.
A Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date.
