Sarah Carter (1991 – 2024) was a thoughtful, caring, and insightful woman of God who was a consistent source of light and love to those around her. On September 21, 2024, at 33 years of age, Sarah went home to be with the Lord due to birth complications related to bringing her son Noah into the world. She and her husband were faithful members of Illuminate Church in Kissimmee, Florida, and those who knew her saw regularly her love for others and her devotion to the Lord. 

Born on April 26,1991, in Eden, North Carolina to Stephen Feild and Ellen Powell Feild, Sarah grew up on the mission field in Ciudad del Este, Paraguay, South America – a place which forever held a special place in her heart. After ten years of ministry, Sarah’s family returned to Greensboro, North Carolina, where they currently reside. Sarah also spent significant time in Lynchburg, Virginia, having received a Bachelor of Arts in English from Liberty University in 2012 and remaining thereafter for multiple years. 

Sarah passed away while living in Orlando, Florida with her husband of 11 years. Sarah is survived by her parents Stephen and Ellen Feild, her husband Jacob Carter, their son Noah Carter, and her brothers David (m. Natalie) and Daniel Feild. 

A memorial service to celebrate Sarah’s life and the remarkable impact she had on those around her will be held at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Greensboro, North Carolina on Sunday, October 20th at 2:00 p.m. 

While words cannot adequately express what Sarah meant to those closest to her, the memory of her love, compassion, wisdom, and guidance live on in the numerous lives of those she touched. She was a light to all, a true friend to many, and a guardian to some.
