Bonnie Kathleen (Tuominen) Johnson, age 85, passed away at Elysian Senior Homes in Duluth, MN where she resided for the last 3 years.

Bonnie was born on March 30, 1939 in Duluth, MN to George and Eva Tuominen. She grew up in Cedar Valley, MN. She married Ronald Johnson on January 9,1960 in Floodwood, MN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, infant son Kyle Lee and brother and sister in law, Floyd and Jean Tuominen.

Ronald and Bonnie raised their family in Ironwood, MI for 40 years and retired to Hermantown, MN in 2003. Bonnie was a member of the Independent Apostolic Lutheran church.

Bonnie is survived by her husband Ron of 64 years, her children Rory of Duluth, MN, Pam (Rick) Kauppila of Negaunee, MI, Brent (Natalie) of Superior, WI, Aaron (Jen) of Maple Lake, MN, Chad (Gina) of Hermantown, MN. Siblings Bill (Mary), Leon (Julie), Ruth (Harvey) Seppanen, Tim (Kathy) and Mark (Lori). 11grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a host of brothers and sisters in faith.

The family would like to thank the staff at Elysian Senior Homes for the loving care they provided for Bonnie.

Visitation: 11:00 am until the service begins at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 25, 2024 at the Independent Apostolic Church, 6273 US Hwy 2, Munger, MN.
