You have left our lives, but you will never leave our hearts
Alma (Workman) Starr, 90, of Palm Bay, Florida, formerly of Logan, Co WV gained her heavenly wings on August 2, 2024.
Alma loved being surrounded by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends. Alma was the daughter of the late Nettie Williamson Workman (Harvey) Lane and Floyd Workman. She loved life and had such a big heart. Some of her hobbies included shopping, cooking, gardening, painting, sewing, bird watching, and woodworking.
In addition to her parents Alma was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Otes Starr, two daughters, Alma (Norman) Marshall, and Nora (Bradley) Worrix, one grandson, Edward Ladd. Also her siblings: Sisters: Florence Brewster, Ida Martin, and Linda Gentile. Along with Brothers: Lovel Ray, Willy, Elva & Clyde Workman.
Many memories will be cherished by her daughters Ardith (Bill) Marshall, Glenda (Alex) Cook, Mary Starr, Edmona (Bruce) Marion. Grand Children: Chad LaDeana, Victor Worrix, Charles (Charlie), Jennifer, Norman (Rusty) Marshall, Arthur Cook, Shane Ladd. Great Grand children: Adam, Draven, Emalee, Marshall, Hailey Alberts, Ethan Young, Katlin, Hope Cook. Luke Marshall, Bradley, Alyssa, Kimberli, Gabriel. Emelia Ladd, Isabella, Marley, Mason Ladd. Her siblings: Gladys Hawkins, Martha (Jane) Smith, Demi (Dee) Smith, Timothy Workman. As well as other family members, including extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Ammen Family Cremation & Funeral Care, 950 Malabar Rd. SE Palm Bay, Florida 32907 (next to 7 Brew Coffee) with Bruce Marion as Pastor, officiating the service at 1pm.
In honoring her wishes, she has been cremated. She will be laid to rest at a later date.
