Billie Jean Kelly, age 75, passed away on October 28, 2024, in Chandler, AZ surrounded by her family. Born on July 26, 1949, Billie is known for her caring, loyal, funny and loving personality.
Billie had a fulfilling career, dedicating 13 years at Sanders/Lockheed from 1980 to 1993, and later Comtech E.F data from 1994 until her retirement in 2015.
Outside of her professional life, she cherished her time with family, doing hobbies like solving puzzles, bowling and indulging in crime novels and shows, which brought her much joy and relaxation.
Billie is survived by her husband Michael J. Kelly of 56 years; sons Rick Kelly and Sean Kelly; daughters Shannon Maksymow and Melissa Violette; sons-in-law Ken Maksymow and Larry Violette; daughter-in-law Susan Kelly; sister Sharon Toma; brother-in-law Matt Toma; grandchildren Rich Kelly (Nikki), James Kelly (Kristina), Lorelei Kelly (Patrick), Kyle Kelly, Michael Violette, and Declan Maksymow; and great-granddaughters Lilly Kelly and Riley Kelly. Billie’s family brought her immense pride and joy throughout her life.
Billie was preceded in death by her mother, Lucy Faye Hankins, and siblings Joanne Young, Ronald Lawrence, and Jackie Lawrence.
Billie will be deeply missed by all who knew her, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter that will be cherished by her family and friends.
