In Loving Memory

Georgina Rodriguez Ramos was born September 1, 1937 in Toa Alta, Puerto Rico. She entered eternal heaven on November 5, 2024 peacefully at home.

Georgina worked on Fort Jackson Military Base processing soldiers until retirement.

Georgina has left to carry on her memories, two brothers, Felix Santos and Anibal Santos; her devoted husband, Leonardo Martinez; her grateful and devoted children, Nydia Depaz of Columbia S.C., Luis and Cherry Rodriguez of Jonesboro, GA, and Evelyn and Alfredo Rodriguez of Hopkins, S.C.; eight grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. She also has a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

Georgina was a woman of God. She loved her family. She celebrated every holiday and every birthday full of love and grace. She always welcomed everyone.

Georgina enjoyed dancing, cooking, thrifting, shopping, vacations at the beach, and more importantly Sunday worship.

With all the roles she had as a wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother, her presence, affection and love will be missed. She would greet everyone with a hug and a kiss as well as send you off in the same manner saying, “Te quiero mucho” (I love you) and “Dios lo Bendiga” (God Bless you)

Job well done mi amore.

Rest well now, Abuelita. May you continue to watch over us, guide us and shine your love and light upon us.
