William Bryan Lovell
February 18th, 1960 - November 5th, 2024
William ”Bill” Bryan Lovell, 64, of Ocala, Florida passed away on November 5th, 2024. He was born on February 18th, 1960 in Ocala, Florida the youngest son of Perry Bryan Lovell Jr. and Eva Helen Lovell.
Bill’s childhood laid the foundation for many of his lifelong interests and hobbies. At a young age Bill developed a love for tools, motors, speed, and power. He and his father shared a close relationship that revolved around building and restoring anything that rolled, floated or flew. Through the encouragement of his mother, Bill joined the Boyscouts and ultimately achieved the honorable recognition of Triple Palm Eagle Scout. His unmistakable work ethic and determination were solidified as he grew, and by the time he was able to drive he could fix anything.
Bill graduated from Forest High School in 1978. During his time at Forest, he played on the Tennis and Golf Teams, was a member of Key Club, an S Club Sweetheart, and German Club. Many of his days after school were spent in a dusty garage working on cars, at the airport earning his pilot’s license, or on the golf course with friends.
Bill graduated with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from the University of North Florida in 1983. After graduation he joined the family business, Lovell Brothers Automotive in Ocala, Florida. He played a key role in Lovell Brother’s massive success as it spanned seven counties in Central Florida. In 1993, he set out on another business venture into the field of insurance, fulfilling his passion of customer service and helping meet the needs of others. He was the proud owner of his own agency which he successfully operated for 31 years.
In 1983, Bill met the love of his life, Karin “Kristi” Sigmon. They were happily married in 1990 and enjoyed 34 indescribable years together. His love for Kristi surpassed all else and was evident in every detail of his life. Bill was actively involved in the life of his two boys, Chris and Connor. Throwing himself completely into their pursuits and interests he never missed a moment.
Bill was a lover of life. He lived fast and loud. He ran after every day to the fullest extent and enjoyment. His love for Jesus controlled him. His love for others consumed him.
Bill’s legacy lives on in the hearts of his wife Kristi Lovell, his sons Christopher Lovell and Connor Lovell, his daughters-in-law Logan Lovell and Lauren Lovell, his three grandchildren, Carter Lovell, Josie Lovell, and McKinley Lovell, his mother, Eva Helen Koenig, and sister Laura Leigh Lovell-Lawlor.
Bill’s celebration of life will be held at First Baptist Church on Friday 15th at 2:00pm. Please join us as we share in his love and the incredible impact he made on us all.
