Cathy Jo Hutchinson

Cathy Jo Hutchinson, 54, of Davenport, FL, passed to her heavenly home on Monday, November 4, 2024. Cathy was born in Bedford, IN, April 9, 1970, to Walter H. and Teresa Ann Hutchinson. She was a 1988 graduate of Brownstown Central High School, Brownstown, IN.

Cathy loved life and lived it with joy and happiness each day! She loved spending time with her family, walking on the beach, and trying anything new. Being surrounded by the love and laughter of her family as she fought her battle with cancer kept her strong.

Cathy was a Walt Disney Legacy Award-winning Leader at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL. She truly enjoyed her job at the happiest place on earth and loved her work family as much as they loved her. She was strong, yet empathetic, assertive, yet approachable, and dedicated to excellence and customer service.

She will be missed greatly by her father and mother, Walter and Teresa Hutchinson, Seymour, IN; sons Jarec Ian Hutchinson, New Castle, IN, and Aleksander Vadim Hutchinson, Davenport, FL; her sisters Carol (Brad) Frische, Seymour, IN, and Lori Blake, Davenport, FL; nephew, Collin Bratcher, Seymour, IN; niece Bailey (Seth) Logan, Jonesborough, TN; and great-nephew, Brennan Walter Logan. Cathy also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and co-workers who will miss her each day.

A Celebration of Cathy’s life will be held Monday, November 11, 2024, at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 1001 E. Grace Avenue, Haines City, FL 33844. Visitation will be from 10 am – 12 pm, with service beginning at 12 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Give Kids the World or JESUS Film Harvest Partners.
