Loraine Beymer

Loraine Mae Beymer went home to be with the Lord on November 10, 2024 in Lakeland, Florida at the age of 72.Loraine was born in Flint, Michigan in 1951 to her parents, Nina Harp (Ward) and Bobby Joe Smith. Loraine was a graduate of Winter Haven High School in 1969. After completing the nursing program at Polk State College, she was a Registered Nurse at the Winter Haven Hospital for over thirty 30 years. Loraine was a longtime member of Lakes Church (Auburndale Campus).She is survived by her daughter, Lori (Louis) Garrard of Lakeland, Florida and son Andy (Jessica) Beymer of Auburndale, Florida. Loraine has six grandchildren: Elizabeth (Aaron) Brown of Lakeland, FL, Abigail (Eric) Pardue of Dallas,TX, Sarah Grace Garrard of Lakeland,FL, Drew Beymer, Nathan Beymer and Benjamin Beymer all of Auburndale, FL. One great granddaughter, Atlas Brown of Lakeland, Florida. She is survived by her sister, Gloria Kirshman (Scott) of Linden, Michigan, sister Valerie Duncan of Linden, Michigan, brother Claude (Carol) Smith of Winter Haven, FL. She is preceded in death by her mother, Nina Harp (Ward) of Mountain City, TN and father, Bobby Joe Smith of Swartz Creek, MI.The memorial service will be on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at 11:00 AM located at Lakes Church (Auburndale Campus), 341 Polk City Road Auburndale, FL with a reception to follow at the church. Visiting hours will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the church prior to the service. Pastor Michael Robinson will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Loraine’s life.
