Wade Kelly Felkins

Wade Kelly Felkins, 66 years old, returned home to his Heavenly Father on Nov. 6, 2024. He passed away doing what he loved, mountain biking with his dear friends.  

He was born on Dec. 21, 1957 in Mesa, AZ to Herbert and Judith Felkins, and had three siblings, Laura (Dave) Tittle, Matthew (deceased), and Deborah (Clay) Winn. He grew up in Mesa, enjoying track & field, karate, snow skiing, bike riding, and road and mountain bike riding.  He attended Westwood High School, graduating in 1976. He went on to attend Mesa Community College and Phoenix Institute of Technology. He became a registered architect, designing homes, apartments, and senior living facilities.

He married Kimberly Jo Winn on Nov. 18, 1982, and had two sons, Kenneth (wife, Jessica), and Wesley. Together, with his wife, Wade enjoyed a full life of travel and adventures with family and loved ones. Wade loved being a father, and raising his sons and serving in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  He spent his spare time finding treasures in storage lockers, mountain biking with his best friends, and being the Lord’s hands in service to others.  

He will be missed immensely, and our hearts are broken. This kindhearted, mountain-of-a-man will never be replaced.  Services are as follows: Funeral Services Friday, Nov. 15, 2024 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Church Building 3930 E Brown Rd.
