Barbara Mae (Burns) Krauss, 83, died on September 26, 2024. She was a resident of Palm Bay, FL and a previous long-standing resident of Sebastian, FL.

Barbara was born on October 17, 1940 in Jersey City, NJ to Leroy O. and Louise C. (Tatcher) Burns, and was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in PA. She and her husband of 58 years, Granville C. Krauss, Jr., lived in Claymont, DE until they moved to Sebastian, FL in 1987. Barbara loved her family, friends and life, in general. She especially doted on her grandchildren, enjoying many special moments and memories with them. She was a caring and giving person, always available to help where needed. One of her favorite pastimes was playing Bingo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Leroy Burns, brother baby (boy) Burns and sister Thelma (Burns) Bantom.

Survivors include sister: Helen (Burns) Burke of Wilmington, DE and three children: Belinda (Jim) McGinn of Sebastian, Sandy (Wayne) Rosser of Melbourne, and Granville III (Linda) Krauss of Palm Bay. She has six grandchildren: Ryan, Melissa and Ross (Ali) McGinn, Stephanie (CJ) McGowan, Kyle and Garrett Krauss, and one great-grandson: Ethan McGowan.

Inurnment for Barbara (and Granville) Krauss will be at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, FL.
