**Obituary for Dominick Michael DiBenedetto** 

 

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Dominick Michael DiBenedetto, who left this world on November 14, 2024,  in Palm Bay, Florida. Born on September 17, 1944, in the vibrant borough of Brooklyn, New York, 

 

Dominick's life was a testament to dedication, love, and family. Dominick was the beloved son of the late Michael and Domenica DiBenedetto and a loving brother to the late Peter DiBenedetto.

 

 He attended Lafayette High School, graduating with the class of 1962, an accomplishment that marked the beginning of his lifelong commitment to hard work and loyalty. For his entire professional life, Dominick was a dedicated truck driver, a career he fulfilled with pride and diligence. His contributions to his field were underscored by the respect and admiration of his peers and colleagues alike. 

 

Dominick was not only a devoted professional but also a man who embraced his role as a husband, father, and grandfather. He leaves behind his cherished wife of sixty years, Joan, with whom he built a life full of love and memories. He is also survived by his two daughters, Lori(Georgie) and Stacey, and their families, along with eight grandchildren: Krystal, Ashley, Alexza, Anthony, Nicholas, Alex O., Amber, and Alex H. and his great-granddaughter Anastasia

 

 Despite the sorrow of his departure, Dominick's legacy will continue to thrive through them. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, who will warmly welcome him into eternal rest. 

 

Dominick's love for collecting trains and gadgets was a testament to his curious and playful nature, which brought joy to his family. His loyalty and loving personality left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

 

 As we reflect on Dominick's gentle spirit and the profound impact he had on those around him, we extend our deepest condolences to his family and all who mourn his passing. 

 

May his soul rest in peace, knowing how deeply he was loved and the indelible mark he left on the world.

 

Inurnment will take place at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery at a later date.
