March 13th, 1928 - November 11th, 2024
Little by little, we let go of loss... but never of love.
Jacob Calhoun Drew, a longtime resident in Metro Detroit, Michigan, most recently of Palm Bay, Florida, passed away on November 11, 2024, at the age of 96.
He was born on March 13, 1928, to William and Minnie Drew in Earle, Arkansas. Jacob proudly served in the United States Army during World War II. Jacob is the cherished husband of the late Rachel; the loving father of Jonah (Joe) Chopp and Ruth (Richard) Peet; the adored grandfather of Brian (Nicole) Chopp, Rachel Peet, and Richard Peet II; and the dear great-grandfather of Brilynn, Kiersten, Amelie, and Miranda. He is preceded in death by his eight siblings.
A celebration of life service will be held for Jacob on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Ammen family Cremation & Funeral Care 950 Malabar Road SE, Palm Bay, Florida (next to 7Brews).
