Patricia "Patty" Ann Lass

In Loving Memory
Patricia Ann Lass, 80, of Cromwell, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Cloquet Memorial Hospital. Patty was born on October 19, 1944, to Frank and Edna Colwell in Duluth. She attended a one room schoolhouse near Tamarack. She had three children with her first husband, James Lund, and spent her latter years married to Tom Lass.
Patty worked in real estate, building homes, as a bookkeeper for many years for Knapp Woodworking Company, attended nursing school in Duluth, but her joy was running the farm, raising and selling beef cattle. She grew a large garden and canned the vegetables for her family. Pottery was an artistic outlet which brought much joy.
Patty was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Audrey Anderson, Joey Anderson, Bill Colwell; and great grandchild, Angelo Vang.
She will be missed by her husband, Tom Lass; children, Kristine Lund, Devin Lund, Cory Lund; brother, Sam Anderson; half-brothers, Harry Colwell, Daniel Colwell; cousin, Chuck Anderson; grandchildren, Royce Kelly Vang, Alyssa Hicks, Joey Lund; and great-grandchild, Sven Hicks.
