Helen Charlene Moraga

Helen Charlene Moraga, aged 54, passed away on November 18, 2024, in Scottsdale, Arizona. Born on December 10, 1969, in Tempe, Arizona, Charlene was a beloved mother, nana, sister, aunt, daughter, sister-in-law and friend, whose life was devoted to the care and love of her family. 

Charlene is survived by her children, Angel (Peeper) Moraga and Serina Garcia, along with her son-in-law, Daniel Barraza. She leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Isabella (Bella) Moraga, Daniel (DJ) Barraza, Salaya Moraga, and Julian Barraza. She is also survived by her siblings, Ronda Moraga, Raymond Moraga, and her twin sister, Mary Darlene Jauregui. Additionally, she is lovingly remembered by her four nieces, three nephews, three great-nieces, and one great-nephew. 

Charlene was preceded in death by her son, Luis (Louie) Villanueva, and her parents, Patsy Weatherford and Ramon Moraga. 

A Life of Dedication 

Charlene dedicated her life to being a devoted mother and "Nana." She unselfishly gave herself to the care of her family, embodying strength and love. Known for her strong yet loving nature, Charlene was also the life of the party. Professionally, she worked in the medical field as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for 10 years, where she touched many lives with her compassion and dedication. 

Memorial Service 

A memorial service to celebrate Charlene's life will be held on December 5th at 10 a.m. at Legacy Funeral Home in Chandler, Arizona. Friends and family are invited to gather and honor the memory of a woman who was the heart of her family and a beacon of strength and joy to all who knew her. 

Charlene's legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and friends, and she will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
