Lucas W Gallegos passed away peacefully on Dec 2, 2024 at home with his family by his side. Lucas was born on Aug 25, 1930 to Lucas and Cecilia Gallegos on a ranch near Pagosa Springs, Co. He served in the army during the Korean War. 

He was saved in 1956 and he began serving our Lord. He became a Minister in 1958, and he pastored in many churches throughout Colorado, Utah and New Mexico. Everywhere he went, he was trying to win souls for Gods kingdom.  He loved going fishing and hunting with family and friends. He went hunting every year with his boys and grandchildren.

 

He is survived by his loving wife Cecilia, his sons Larry Gallegos. Gary (Kim)Gallegos, Tim (Lisa) Gallegos, his daughter Sherry (Mike) Shornock and their families and his brother Joe Gallegos and numerous nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, several of his siblings, his son Jerry, and his grandson Michael. 

 

He will be missed by all his family and friends.
