Jon Paul Danforth was born on August 3, 1979, in Mankato, MN, and was the beloved twin brother of Joel Danforth. He served with honor in Kosovo as part of his service in the U.S. Army.
In 2006, Jon married his loving wife, Brandy, and together they made their home in Denver, CO. Jon was preceded in death by both his maternal and paternal grandparents, as well as his cherished dog, Klondike.
He is survived by his wife, Brandy, of Denver, CO; his parents, Ken and Pam Danforth of Fort Collins; his mother Tina Heckert of OR, his twin brother Joel Danforth and nephew Collin Danforth from Fort Collins, his sister, Jody Danforth, from OR. He also leaves behind his step-sisters, Jamie Schatz of Fort Collins, CO, and Jill Coles of TX, as well as his father-in-law, George. Jon is also survived by his loyal dog, Violet.
Jon loved spending time outdoors, especially camping with his dad. He treasured moments with his twin brother, Joel, and had a unique sense of humor and loved telling jokes to all he knew and that always brought joy and laughter to those around him. His generosity and kind spirit left a lasting impact on everyone he met. He also leaves behind aunts and uncles who also appreciated and cherished his sense of humor and time spent with him. Jon will be missed dearly.
