Daniel Salazar, of Monte Vista, Colo., passed away on December 9th, of 2024, at the age of 45. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents/Parents Gloria Jiron and Felipe Salazar; brothers Phillip Salazar, Bobby Salazar, and Eddie Salazar; and numerous extended family members. Daniel was survived by his wife Mary T Griego.; Children; Destiny (Ryan) Salazar, Daniel Salazar, Saul Gonzales-Moreno, Fernando (Ximena) Gonzales-Moreno, Rosa Gonzales-Moreno, Naiely Perez-Moreno; Fur Babies; Rocky (Tata), Pearl (Tinkey Butt), Bella (Beya/Chona), Hazel (Gorda).; his mother Alice (Raul) Salazar.; Siblings; Yolanda Moreno, Alvaro Moreno, Yesenia Moreno, Guadalupe (Manuel) Murillo, Teresa Felix, Frank Sanchez, Maggie (Juan) Morales, and Tony (Melissa) Felix. and numerous nephews and nieces, many wonderful family (in-laws) and friends. Daniel enjoyed/ loved anything in life. He enjoyed watching the Broncos play, laying in bed with the dogs, going to lowrider car shows, or working on his cutlass while listening to music in his garage. A man of a loving, caring, hard-working, shit talking, kick back life. Daniel loved all his nieces and nephews even though he scared most of them when they were babies. Thank you to all of his friends he met along the way, either if it was at work or a neighbor. He had a lot of friends who were like family to him. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
