Betty Jean Boadle Boyles of Melbourne, FL passed away peacefully on December 17, 2024 at the age of 95. She was born October 27, 1929 in Big Spring, Texas to Joseph Robert Boadle and Ada Ann Dean. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Joe Robert Boadle, Charles Ray Boadle and her sister, Doris Lou Hollandsworth. Her love of golf showed in every aspect of her life from winning tournaments to sewing and embroidering golf towels, handbags and anything she could find to put a golf-themed logo on. If there was golf on TV, she was watching. Her proudest golf moment was her hole in one, during a tournament.

Betty Jean loved to cook. Thanksgiving noodles were her specialty. She especially liked cooking each child’s favorite meal on their birthday.

She is survived by her children, Larry Ford (Norma) of Evans, GA, Linda Boyles of Jonesboro, GA, Gail Boyles of Valdosta, GA and Melba Boyles of Melbourne, FL, her beloved grandson, Tyler Ford (Erica) of Evans, GA and her great-grandchildren, Jolie, Aiden and Noelle. Also surviving is niece, Debra Meador (Steve), nephew, Joe Robert Boadle, III and great-niece, Courtney Meador.

The family would like to express sincere gratitude to Atlantic Shores Rehab and Nursing Home of Melbourne, FL and Vitas Hospice Care for the excellent care she received during her extended stay.
