Eleanor Marguerite Keller

Eleanor Marguerite Rhine Keller, aged 87, of Altoona, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on December 11, 2024, in Mesa, Arizona. Born on April 6, 1937, to Elizabeth Kelley Rhine and Donald Rhine, Eleanor was a devoted wife of 49 years to Merton Keller, who predeceased her in 2008. She was also a loving Mother and survived by sons Bill Keller, Scott Keller, Eric Keller and daughter AmySue Mellinger, as well as a cherished grandmother to her 12 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren. She also loved her brothers Lauren, Donald, and George who all passed into heaven before her. She was a Registered Nurse with her career spanning from labor and delivery, neonatal intensive care, pediatrics, school nursing, family medicine then finishing with an oral surgeon group in Doylestown, PA. She was always active in her church and showed her love and kindness to all she would meet. In her younger years she lived overseas for a year as a missionary in the Philippines. Some of her favorite past times after retirement were traveling with her husband in their RV and living in Florida where she hosted her family and many visitors. There will be a private service for the family. She is now home with the Lord, her Savior, and will be dearly missed by all she left behind. She had a life well lived and we thank God for her.
