Thomas Stephen Carr
April 30th, 1954 - December 24th, 2024
Thomas Stephen Carr, age 70 – passed away unexpectedly December 24th having suffered a sudden medical event. Tom Carr lived a full life and was an inspiration to those who knew and loved him. Preceded in death by mother, Joanie Carr; father, Tom Carr, Sr. and brother Tim Carr. Tom is survived by his sons Liam & Patrick; brothers and sisters: Bridget Carr Pirsch, Terry (Amy), Chris (Aimee), Michael (Ann), Dan (Kathy Glover), Molly, and Colleen (Tim Evon) - as well as dozens of extended family, cousins, nieces, nephews and many other loving family and friends.
Tom was known for his sharp wit, selfless nature, loyalty and humor. He was also a natty dresser and proud of his Irish heritage. Tom grew up in Hopkins, attended the University of Minnesota and worked as a very successful sales executive in the banking and financial services industry, winning numerous awards, before retiring a few years back. Tom was a wonderful story teller as he’d recount tales of his upbringing and exploits to the delight of friends, relatives and his boys - who meant the world to him. He'll be missed.
Join us to celebrate Tom’s life on January 15, 2025 at Willwerscheid Funeral Home on Grand Avenue in St. Paul. Visitation from 4-6 p.m. with Reflections from 6-7 p.m.
