Charles "Chuck" Vinson Blankenship
July 28th, 1936 - December 22nd, 2024
Beloved Husband, Father, & Grandfather
Charles Vinson Blankenship, 88, of Phoenix, Arizona, known to many as “Mr. B”, went to join our heavenly father December 22, 2024.
He was born in Monette, Arkansas and passed away in Scottsdale, Arizona.
He was preceded in death by his parents Elbert and Arlene. He is survived by his beautiful wife of 62 years Sandra Blankenship, sons Randell, Robert and his wife Meghan, daughter Rene Pelayo, and son David Murray.
He was the proud grandfather to Riley, her husband Riley Metzger, Bailey, Caden, Jordan, and his wife Mary.
He is also survived by many wonderful friends and relatives in his home state of Arkansas, Arizona, Texas, Tennessee and New York.
Mr. B was a USAF veteran and proudly served his country in the Korean campaign. He was a Highway Patrolman in Blythville Arkansas and attended Arkansas State University before being drafted.
Mr. B was an avid hunter and athlete. He was a coach and many knew him at the ball games as the loudest voice in the stands. He spent many years working for Brown and Root Construction in Houston, Texas were he reared his family.
He will be missed and we are sure he is resting peacefully in God’s hands.
His celebration of life will be held Friday February 7th @ 2:30 PM -
