Molly Annette Stewart

Molly Annette Stewart, 75, passed away peacefully on December 29th, 2024, at 5:44 a.m. in Chandler, Arizona. Born on January 3, 1949, in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, Molly was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose strength and vibrant spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.

Molly spent her early years traveling and building a life alongside her husband, a military man. Together, they lived in many places before settling in Arizona, where she remained for the last 30 years. A devoted wife, she deeply loved her husband, who preceded her in death a decade ago.

While raising her two daughters, Michelle and Heather, Molly also ran a daycare from her home, dedicating her time and energy to nurturing and teaching children. She was a woman of great resilience and boundless energy, known for her love of mind games. 

Molly is survived by her brother, Linwood; two daughters, Michelle and Heather; her five grandchildren, Anastacia, Hunter, James, Alexis, and Aiden; and her two great-grandchildren, Abel and Moses. She was deeply cherished by her family, who admired her unwavering strength and joyful demeanor, even as she bravely faced the challenges of Alzheimer’s in her later years.

Funeral service will be held Friday, January 24th, 2025 at 10am at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. 

Molly was a fighter, a beacon of love and happiness in her family’s lives. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
