Maureen Theresa McCusker, born June 27, 1960 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 18, 2024, in Venice, Florida. Maureen dedicated her life to the service of others as a registered nurse for 35 years. Her career spanned all areas of the nursing field, where her compassion and skill left an indelible mark on those she cared for. Maureen's ability to provide comfort and support extended beyond her profession and was a defining characteristic of her life.
A woman of many talents and passions, Maureen found joy in the culinary arts, travel, and
music. Her adventurous spirit and creative pursuits enriched her life and brought happiness to those around her. Maureen was predeceased by her parents. John and Eileen Buck. She is survived by her beloved son, Brendan McCusker, and her three siblings.
Funeral viewing services will be held at Farley Funeral Home on Thursday January 9, 2025 at 6-8pm. located at 265 Nokomis Avenue in Venice, Florida.
Maureen's legacy of care and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those she touched throughout her remarkable life.
