CJ (Carol) Parr, 78, of Davenport, Florida passed away on Friday, January 3, 2025.

She was born on October 26, 1946, in Canton, Illinois to Gerald and Joann Bair Parr and moved to Davenport in 1996 from Orlando, Florida.

In Illinois, C.J. was a magazine telemarketer and worked at Eureka vacuum.    

In Florida, CJ retired from the hospitality industry after working some 27 years for various hotels in every capacity possible. She was a member of Christ's Promise Church in Auburndale, Florida.

CJ loved to draw, go to the beach and boogie board. She was happiest while traveling around visiting friends or cruising in her yellow convertible. She was and will always be remembered affectionately as Ms. Wonderful or Number 1.

CJ was predeceased by her parents, Gerald and Joann and is survived by her life partner, of 38 years, Lia Vines; her sister, Sherri Quick and her husband, Rick; and brother Jerry Parr and his wife, Virginia.

There will be a gathering of family and friends on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, from 11 am until the celebration of life service at 12 pm at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 1001 E. Grace Ave, Haines City, Florida 33844. Telephone 863-422-3933.
