Brian “Dirty” Pennington, of Haines City, Florida passed away on January 8, 2025. He was 55 years old. He was born on August 27, 1969, to Odell C. and Nina Joyce Ferguson Pennington in Bartow, Florida and was raised in Haines City. Brian was a lifelong resident of Polk County and of the Baptist faith. Dirty was a true outdoorsman who was ready to go at all times. He had a unique ability to take nothing and make something. His true love was his grandchildren whom he dearly adored. He was the self-proclaimed LEGEND.
He was predeceased by his father, Odell C. “Cotton Top” Pennington and his sister, Carol Bower. Brian is survived by his mother, Nina Pennington of Lakeland, Florida; daughter, Crystal Pennington of Auburndale, Florida; son, Thomas Pennington of Lake Alfred, Florida; siblings, Michael Clark of Lakeland, Florida, Donnie Clark of Ocala, Florida, Teresa Hill of Lakeland, Florida, Jimmy Hill of Haines City, Florida, Del Pennington of Lakeland, Florida and 9 grandchildren.
A visitation will be Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 11 am until the funeral at 12 pm at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City, Florida.
