Obituary
Manuel DeJesus Romero passed away January 2nd 2025 at the age of 62. Manny was a native of New York City and resided in Aurora, Colorado. Manny was a huge sports enthusiast and no matter what part of the country he was living in at the time he always supported his New York Teams. Knicks, Mets, Rangers, Jets fan for life. Manny had a larger-than-life personality always engaging and never missed an opportunity to help the needy either with his time, resources or just a simple conversation. His generosity knew no bounds. Manny was highly educated having received three degrees a bachelor’s degree and two master’s Degrees in both Business and History. In his younger years he excelled in sports having played Basketball and Baseball at the High School level and various overseas leagues while stationed in Japan while serving his country faithfully in the United States Marine Corps.
Manny was known for his strong will, unwavering determination, and love and support for his family and community. Manny’s loss came very sudden and unexpected, and his loss will be heartfelt. While our hearts mourn the loss, we take comfort that he is no longer suffering.
Preceded in joining the Lord: Mother & Father, Hilda & Manuel Romero
Survived by: Siblings Ray Romero, Ivan Romero, Irene Romero, Barbara Romero, and Edwin Romero. Also survived by his many cousins, aunts and uncles.
Funeral Services are under the Direction of Romero Funeral Home, 4750 Tejon Street, Denver, Colorado 80211 from 9am-12pm January 17th 2025 with Cremation to follow.
