While her girls were young, she was active in Girl Scouts, swim team, neighborhood carpools, and helping Bob Packwood with his political campaign for Senator in 1969. Joyce was a world traveler and traveled the world with some wonderful friends. She taught school at McLoughlin Middle School in 1980 until her retirement in 2002, touching the lives of many students in Clark County!
She is survived by her husband James White, her daughters Pam Hawkins of Palmer Alaska, Elizabeth Noll of Fircrest Washington, son Vincent Bunn and daughter in law Jessica Bunn of Vancouver Washington, and 4 grandchildren. She also had several longtime friends – too many to name, but were the same as family to her!
