Robert Andrews, 92, passed away on December 30, 2024, with his children by his side.
Bob was born in Crestwood, Illinois on August 24, 1932. He moved to Arizona in 1980.
He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Andrews. He is survived by his daughter, Sisson Stewart, son, Robert Andrews (Sydney), his grandchildren TJ, Shea, Brandy, Tiayan, Austin, and Brandon and his great-grandchildren, Trent, Alissa, Aiyla, Ellie, and Zoey. He was preceded in death by his grandson Chad. He is also survived by his first wife and friend, Mary Jane Howley.
Bob served in the Army National Guard from 1951 - 1953 and then served in the U.S. Army until his honorable discharge in 1963.
Bob had many interests and was a former member of the original Beer Can Collectors of America club. He loved to travel. He won the softest beard award at the Wickenburg Bluegrass Festival. He loved animals and ice cream. He will be greatly missed.
He will be laid to rest on February 28, 2025, at 10 AM at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
