Steven Robert Garcia, born on December 15, 1952, in Colorado, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Rosalie Garcia, as well as his siblings, Theresa, Lola, Mary Anne, Thomas, Pete, Jessie, and Joe.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Garcia, and his children, Steve Garcia, Annette Damian, and Veronica Gutierrez. He also leaves behind his stepchildren, Juanita Lucero, Eddie Jaramillo, and Tim Jaramillo. Steven was the proud grandfather of Capri Gutierrez, Juanita Maes, David Damian, Ricardo Damian, Alyssa Rye, Rosalie Damian, Julian Damian, Angel Damian, Angelique Damian, Nicole Gutierrez, Angelo Damian, and Nathan Cordova. He will also be lovingly remembered by his great-grandchildren, Faith Maes, Angel Maes, Angelo Damian, Amiliano Damian, Alijah Damian, Jaylani Damian, Eli Moody, Johnny Turcios, Timmy Turcios, Sammy Gutierrez, Euangeline Aguirre, Cashton Aguirre, and Atreus Aguirre.
Steven was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend whose warmth and love touched everyone around him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Service Information
A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 20, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
At Romero Funeral Home & Cremations, 4750 Tejon St., Denver, CO 80211.
A reception will follow from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM.
