Helen Odessa Overstreet Goff, 80, of Lynchburg, VA passed away Sunday, January 19, 2025. She was the wife of the late James Edward Goff for 35 years. She was retired and served as office manager at Oakwood Country Club for 26 years.
Born April 16, 1944, in Bedford, VA, she was the daughter of the late Reed Hampton Overstreet and Helen Skinnell Overstreet. She was predeceased in death by one son, Douglas Reed Goff; and one sister, Lucy O. Peak.
She is survived by one daughter, Donna G. Martz (Calvin); and one son, Robert A. Goff (Jennifer); seven grandchildren, Darren Goff (Jena), Hailea Martz (Taylor), Jordan Goff ( Kimiko), Lindsey Martz (Matthew), Piper Martz (Kendrick), Dillon Goff and Morgan Goff; nine great-grandchildren, Khorie, Parker, Myles, Ellie, Liliane, Gracie, Addison, Kynsley and Maci.
The family will receive friends from 12 to 1 p.m. on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 1 p.m. Interment will be in Virginia Memorial Park. Online condolences may be made at www.Diuguidfuneralservice.com
