It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of  our mother Constance Barber (Pflug), who left this world on December 21, 2024, at the age of 77. Born on March 19, 1947, in Winter Haven, Florida, Constance was the beloved daughter of Robert H. and Eleanor L. Pflug.

Constance was a devoted wife to her late husband, Ray Barber, and an extraordinary mother to her children, Richard Barber (Melissa) , Angela Connolly (Brian) , and Kimberly Barber (Rodney). She found her greatest joy in the love of her family and treasured her role as “Grandma” to her grandchildren: Jesse, Kaitlynn, Teaghan, Kieran, Wesley, Nicholas, and Jonathan. Her heart was filled with even more joy for her great-grandchildren, Isaac and Alvin, who brought her endless pride and delight.

As a sister, Constance shared a lifelong bond with her siblings, Jimmy, who preceded her in death, and her surviving siblings Pamela and Bobby.

Constance will be remembered for her kind and giving nature, her gentle spirit, and her sparkling blue eyes, which reflected the depth of her love and warmth. She was a woman of extraordinary strength and grace, leaving an indelible mark on her family and friends.
