Gail Ann McConnell, age 70, of Port Charlotte, Florida was born on July 16, 1954 in Mt. Lebanon, PA and passed away on January 19, 2025. Prior to moving to Port Charlotte Gail lived in Bradenton. She was a Registered Nurse for 41 years. Gail worked as Head Nurse of I.C.U. at St. James Hospital in Chicago Heights, IL, worked for Blake Hospital for 20 years and finished her career in senior living. She was the most amazing mother to her only daughter, Erin and the best Gigi to Kate and Olivia.
She is survived by her daughter, Erin and son-in-law, Brad O’Neill; two granddaughters, Kate and Olivia O’Neill; a sister, Karin Johnson; a brother, Mark McConnell and wonderful nieces. Gail was preceded in death by her father, Donald McConnell; her mother, Patricia McConnell Morse and her brother, Don McConnell.
There are no services planned at this time. Memorial donations may be made to the Bishop Animal Shelter, 5718 21st Avenue W., Bradenton, Florida 34209.
