Cheryl Lee Bednarek, 78, passed away with her family at her side on Monday, January 27, 2025, at Barnes Care. She was born in Minneapolis, MN, on December 22, 1946, to Harold and Donna Munter.  She graduated from High School in 1964 and was united in marriage to Thomas Bednarek on January 19, 1974. 

 

Cheryl was the homemaker for her family, before starting her career in manufacturing as a seamstress for Wear-A-Knit and K1 Sports until her retirement. Cheryl also enjoyed spending time crafting and quilting. 

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas; and sister, Maureen Bodin.

 

She is survived by her children, Dan (Angel) Waldorf, Stephanie Thomas, Chris (Fiona) Waldorf, Jason (Rebecca) Bednarek, and Joshua Bednarek; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.  

 

Visitation: ­­­10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Funeral Service on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Atkins Northland Funeral Home, Cloquet, MN, with burial to follow at New Calvary Cemetery.  Luncheon will be held at Atkins following burial.
